baby always wants nipple in his mouth even while sleeping if removed he wakes up what to do

ExpertDr Arti SharmaPaediatrician8 years agoA. Sleep should be in a dark room. Put baby down to sleep when he is drowsy, let him sleep on his own ,let baby fuss for few minutes, just go back to sleep, on his own, with no assistance

SantoMom of a 8 yr 7 m old child8 years agoA. Newborns are like this Baby is using your breast to comfort himself and make them feel safe. Breastfeeding is not just giving nutrients to your baby also it's about making baby feel secure and comfortable. this phase doesn't last long hardly a year or little more. As babies get older they start to be more interested in their surroundings and not require constant feeding. It is fine for him to feed to sleep and to feed for comfort. Like we have coffee and tea for no reason. Just like that.
