A. For a 3-month-old baby, paracetamol (like Crocin or Calpol) can be given for fever or pain relief when traveling, but only under a doctor's guidance. When to Give Paracetamol During Travel? ✅ If the baby has fever (above 100.4°F or 38°C) ✅ If the baby is irritable due to mild pain (like vaccination pain) ✅ If the doctor has already prescribed the correct dosage Precautions: ✔️ Correct dosage is crucial – Usually 10-15 mg per kg of baby’s weight, every 6-8 hours (Max 4 doses in 24 hours). ✔️ Give after feeding – Helps in better absorption and prevents stomach irritation. ✔️ Avoid overdose – Giving too much can harm the liver. ✔️ Check for allergic reactions – If baby gets rashes or vomiting, stop and consult a doctor. When to Avoid? ❌ If the baby is active and does not have a fever. ❌ Without confirming the correct dose from a pediatrician. ❌ If the baby has vomiting, drowsiness, or severe illness – Seek medical help
