At what stage a baby starts speaking and walk. How to get a hint of it ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age.
there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child.
also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child
avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development.
the most important thing is that before speech, understanding of the commands given by the parents should be present.
by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speech and development assessment.
requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor.
walking with support will come any time between 9 months to 15 months of age.
walking without support will come maximum by 18 months of age so before that there is no need to worry and you have to just continue regular ddiet of the child( food made from cereals pulses fruits veggies milk) as well as baby massage and regular massage will also helpx in improving the muscle strength which will help in walking. regular encouragement for the child to walk
