Hi,your child is 1&1/2 yr old.I think what you wanted to ask is when your child will convey you that he/she wants to pass urine/poop before passing it.It generally starts by age of 2 years.Its ideal age to start toilet training. Encourage your child to convey you whenever he/she has urge to pass urine/poop.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children6 years agoA. We have to train them. Potty training a child should stern t with understanding ur child's ability. Whether the child has the maturity to understand the instruction, whether he has the physical maturity to control his bladder. Etc., You should also be patirnt enough to repeat instructions, handle accidents and keep on encouraging the child.
