Assalamu alaikum. This is Dr Sumayya. I'm 11 weeks pregnant. since 5th week of pregnancy I'm suffering from severe acidity and heartburn. I have tried taking antacid syrups but they did not work. I'm unable to get rid of this problem. please advice some good antacid which can be taken during pregnancy.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Hello dear Syrup Gaviscon is really helpful during pregnancy and also postpartum and it is safe also. It starts working within 3 secs of consumption. If that also doesn’t work medications might be required

Digene is one of the best ones that you can take also I would advise you to be cold water cold milk directly from the refrigerator I have a class of one fourth glass before you go to sleep every night that is also going to be helpfulWrite Your Answer Here
