#Askthexperts My 24 days new born is little sneezing & coughing. Also it sounds that it may have cough inside, weighs 3.1 Kgs. What are the home remedies we can do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be heblpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a propnber evaltuation .

Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
Use saline nasal drops
Maintain hygiene and maintain hydration
