#askthexpert Is it safe to remove cervical polyps after 3 months of pregnancy. Currently I m 2.5 weeks pregnant doc told this will cause bleeding and I am having bleeding and clots issue because of this. Is it safe to get it removed?

ExpertHarita kothiaObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 years agoA. Better to use a wait and watch approach.. We don't know if it will bleed after 12 weeks. Even then if there is active bleeding due to this... May need removal.
