Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Infants are usually gassy because they have immature digestive systems and swallow air during feedings. Some babies may have sensitivities that could be affected by a breastfeeding mom's diet or a certain type of formula.
