I would highly recommend you to get your doctor's suggestion
Akanksha BhuriMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hey, since your child is 8 months I'm assuming that he'll be on solids as well. in this age, formula should be given just to supplement the meals in case you are not breastfeeding or want to supplement occasionally. choose a brand that works well as per the needs and digestion of the baby, or go as per pediatrician's advice. after my girl was 6 months, I had to supplement her meals with formula as I joined work and couldn't breastfeed her during the day. I pumped and occasionally she was given dexolac stage 2 along with solids as per pediatrician's advice. touchwood she never got any digestion issues.
