A. At 6 months, you can start introducing soft, easily digestible solid foods along with continued breast milk or formula. Begin with single-ingredient foods like rice cereal, mashed banana, boiled and mashed carrots, sweet potato, apple puree, or moong dal water. Start with small amounts and offer one new food at a time to watch for any allergies. Make sure the food is smooth in texture and free of salt, sugar, or spices. Gradually increase variety and quantity as your baby gets used to solids.
