#asktheexperts What if my baby hasnt pooped for 5 days ? Is that normal ? Should we take any action for it ?

A. yes, it's normal, wait for 7 days. Gently press and massage the lower left side of his abdomen, do bicycling motion of legs onto and away from his abdomen this may stimulate the muscles to contract and move matter for evacuation.

A. Hello dear parent! Exclusively breastfed babies might not be passing stools even for a week, it is alright as long as your baby is active and normal. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Use Babyhug tummy roll on. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
