Q.

#asktheexperts we want to know the schedules of PCV vaccines for babies .In government hospital they are saying that the schedule is at 6 , 14 week and then booster later on ,But in private hospital they are saying that schedules is 6,10 and 14 weeks can you please help why government is not giving at 10 weeks what happened if we miss the 10 week pcv vaccine because they have not given at 10 week

A. I had the same concern. I consulted 2 doctors, one said it's ok if we didn't give pcv2 but another doctor had opposite opinion. So during 14 weeks vaccination, doctor gave pcv2 and told to have pcv3 after a month.
