A. sunlight is important for the generation of vitamin d in the body. to generate proper vitamin d the child should go in sunlight between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. for at least 10 minutes daily . if the child is not able to follow this then vitamin d supplements needs to be given. after 1 year of age there is two options of giving vitamin d to the child. it would be advisable to discuss this with your personal pediatrician. when you are giving drops of 800 units you have to give 0.8 ml per day or you can shift to vitamin d shots of 60000 unit whichd can be given 5 ml single dose and has to be repeated every three months for the child.

A. Vitamin D can be treated with proper vitamin D supplement that you can offer to the child as per your doctors advice and also you can ask them to kind or any kind of liquid or food that you can offer to the child which will help in increasing vitamin D for the child
