Q.

#asktheexperts the foetus has a double bubble issue (Deodenal Artresia), which the doctors mentioned that it needs to be corrected through surgery after birth. Will the baby be able to breastfeed properly after the surgery? What are the cautions to be considered?

A. The condition should not impact the breast-feeding capacity of the baby. But we have to keep a keen eye if there is any intestinal obstruction or not. Keep in constant touch with the doctor.
