Q.

#asktheexperts The child has had intermittent episodes of clay-colored stools. Over the past one month, clay-colored stool was noted on three occasions—twice completely clay-colored and once partially clay-colored. Otherwise, stools are generally normal in color; occasionally greenish. Stool consistency varies from normal to sticky or watery. The child received albendazole and is currently on daily calcium and iron supplementation. There was a recent episode of upper respiratory tract infection (cold). The child is active, feeding well, and developmentally appropriate, with no associated lethargy or behavioral changes
