#asktheexperts sir my son is 11months old he was nw fever from last week 16th and i tested blood samples on Monday doctors said he was affected with pneumonia doctors give a antibiotics nw d 3rd days he was active nicley but some times he was getting fever hw manys days shd it take to cure and any home remedies also sir

A. please get all fever testing. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatmentsee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her

A. hi usually it takes one or two weeks to recover. viral pneumonia may take longer than this. most kids will have recovered after 3 or 4 weeks. for this , I would suggest to take necessary follow ups from your pediatrician Along with that,keep your child well hydrated give indirect steam. give Sunbath for 20 minutes a day you can apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child too
