#asktheexperts sir my baby stool is blackish in colour. she turns 2 months n feed wit formula milk nan pro . is it normal or what is the possible reason

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. if you're giving iron it can be black The colour of stool in the baby will be ranging from light yellow to dark green no need to worry unless it is smelling very bad

Yes this can be due to iron fortified formula milk or any iron supplements that you are giving to the baby. But no need to worry. This is normal... If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, accepting feeds then no need to worry
