#asktheexperts Sir,my baby is not pooping for more than 7days...we showed a pediatrician she told it's normal if baby is not feeling any discomfort..and kept suppository...still the same is continuing and baby shows discomfort at times like straining to poop.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. it is ok for baby. At infancy it is not necessary that baby pass motion daily. It may be in 2 to 3 days or can be up to 1 week also . Glycerine suppository can be used for lubrication of the area .
