Q.

#asktheexperts since my baby was born with low weight 2.6kg my doctor asked to feed him within every 2-3hours. Now that he has reached 4.4kg in 2 months should I continue the same or should I start with on demand feeding ? If I have to continue then till when should I continue it ??

A. During first two months you should maintain a gap of two hours between two feedings. But after completing two months it is advisable to feed your baby only on demand and do not give any forceful feeding on particular timings. yes you can increase the feeding gap The feeding should be done atleast 10 minutes.

A. Hello dear parent! Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil. Baby should be doubling it’s birth weight by 6 months completion
