Room Temperature: The environment could be a bit warm. Make sure your baby is not overdressed or swaddled in too many layers, as this can cause them to feel warm. Keep the room at a comfortable temperature.
Teething: Babies often feel warm when they are teething due to the body’s natural response to the discomfort. It doesn’t usually cause a fever, but can make your baby feel warmer than usual.
Activity: If your baby has been active, playing, or moving around more than usual, their body temperature might temporarily rise. It should return to normal once they are settled.
After Feeding: Sometimes, after feeding, babies can feel slightly warmer due to increased blood circulation, especially if the room is warm.
Clothing: Too many clothes or heavy blankets can cause your baby to feel warmer. Ensure they are dressed appropriately for the room temperature.
If your baby doesn't have a fever and seems comfortable, there's no need to worry. However, if your baby shows signs of discomfort, excessive heat, or if the temperature rises beyond normal (above 100.4°F or 38°C), you should monitor them closely and consult a doctor if necessary.
