However, since your milk supply is low and his weight gain is poor, you may need to supplement with formula for proper growth. 1. Breast Milk / Formula (Essential for Growth) Breast Milk: If possible, try to increase supply with lactation-boosting foods. Formula Milk: If weight gain remains low, consider a high-calorie formula recommended by a pediatrician. 2. Nutritional Value in Milk (Per 100ml) Since your baby is still too young for solid foods, avoid introducing anything other than milk until six months unless advised by a doctor.
