#asktheexperts my son weighs 7.850 kgs he is 4 months and 9 days.. He doesn’t look that he is this weighted doesn’t have much fat .. is this weight normal ??

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, weight of 7.85 kg for a 4 months 9 days old baby is within the normal range. Baby’s weight at this age should be in the range of 5.6 kg to 8.7 kg.
For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. Avoid giving formula.
