Q.

#asktheexperts my son was having high fever which was not reducing after giving calpol...took him to doc his temp was 102..doctor said viral fever and gave injection and prescribed same calpol and taxim and relent syrup for cough ...but since Taxim is antibiotic should I give is my doubt

A. Viral fever sometimes can take 10 to 15 days to subside or sometimes more than that also so just go ahead with what your doctor recommending you as of now and in case of any problem you can talk to your doctor for further assistance
