A. to help a child sleep, you can swaddle them, sing a lullaby, use a cradle or swing, take a car ride, walk briskly while holding them on your shoulder, or gently swing them between your legs. ensure the cfhild isn't hungry or experiencing colic, and use a comfortable mattress. sleep patterns improve with age.
