#asktheexperts my son is 8month 17days old, he is only 8kgs and birth weight was 3.4kg we introduced him solids only after 6 months he was exclusively breastfed. Is it normal what else we need to do to increase his weight? he likes vegitable and fruits. he has achieved all the milestones currently he can stand with support

A. Dear mum, weight of 8 kg is absolutely normal for 8 months 17 days old baby considering a birth weight of 3.4 kg. Continue to give variety of fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Also, give milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Eggs and non veg foods. Nuts like almonds. Add ghee to every meal.
