Q.

#asktheexperts my son is 8 months old now. how many times we need to give him solids ? currently we are giving solids twice ( ragi malt ) and in the afternoon we give fruits but he eats only 1-2 spoons.He frequently breastfeeds

A. 8 months: 24 to 36 ounces of formula or breast milk over 24 hours (now that your baby's a more efficient nurser, you'll probably breastfeed her four to six times a day) 4 to 9 tablespoons each of cereal, fruit and vegetables a day, spread out over two to three meals.
