A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated agffter 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. Calpol Is the fever for medicine the medicine you gave to the child is an antiallergic it is for cold not for a fever so give Calpol to your child as of now you can repeat the dosage after six hours start doing cold sponging regularly and consult your paediatrician please
