Q.

#asktheexperts My son is 6 months and 18 days old now, what all I can give him in solids to eat which is home made? and in what quantity? I am not preferring packed food like cerelac.

A. Hello mom that’s an excellent decision that you prefer only home cooked foods . You can give the baby a mix of liquids and semi solids and mashed foods. You can first start with a few tsp and then gradually increase the quantity. You can give the baby steamed vegetables or soups , fresh fruit juices or purée or porridge made with ragi or suji or multigrain mix , kichidi , curds , ghee
