#asktheexperts my son is 5 months old .he only sleeps after rocked in cradle. How can I make him sleep direct in bed without being rocked?

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 12 yr 5 m old boy1 week agoA. Hey! Establish a consistent routine, this cues his brain that it is time to sleep. Ensure that room is dark, cool and quiet. Instead of stopping the rocking cold turkey, try rocking him until he is calm then stop the cradle. Gradually move to the bed. Consistency is key. It may take several nights or even weeks for him to adjust to the new routine.
