#asktheexperts My son is 3 months old born 30 weeks gestational age. Still he needs blood transfusion . how much time will it take to make his body own blood. Moreover his immunity is very weak

Q. Hi My baby born premature with gestation age of 27 weeks with 970 gm wt. He is in CPAP from last 45 days with minimal oxygen flow. Feed also gone upto 25 ml in 2 hrs in first 30 days but after that Dr given blood transfusion due to hb level gone down upto 9.1 but after that baby suffered with infection in stomach.
