#asktheexperts my son is 3.5 months old. I was feeding on demand, initially gap btw feeds was 2 hours which has now increased to 4 hours at times. His birth weight was 3.4 and he is now 6.1 kg. Should i stop demand feeding and feed him in every 2-3 hour

A. hi mom yes you can there is no set rule if is growing well then no problems have good proteins for better quality of milk and hydrate well for better flow of milk

A. Ma’am your child is gaining very very well so you should feed your child on demand this is actually the correct pattern to be followed after 60 days if you continue to feed the child every two hour the child is going to vomit out because initial two months we believe the child is sleeping and does not demand more of feed which is why it is suggested to feed every two hours
