Q.

#asktheexperts my son is 14 months old and doesn't walk more than 3-4steps without support. what is the age before which walking milestone should be achieved.If my baby crosses that age and milestone is not achieved what has to be done.

A. walking with support will come any time between 9 months to 15 months of age. walking without support will come maximum by 18 months of age so before that there is no need to worry and you have to just continue regular diet of the child( food made from cerealsd pulses fruits veggies milk) as well as baby massage and regular massage will also help in improving the muscle strength which will help in walking. regular encouragement for the child to walk

A. That’s a very good thing as a child would learn to walk independently between the age of 12 to 17 months so right now there is no problem in that your child is having a proper milestone reach 3 to 4 steps without any support is very good so just encourage your child well
