HomeQuestions & Answers#asktheexperts My son is 1 year 4 month old. Past 3 months, he is not able to sleep at night correctly. Though I feed him food at night properly, in the middle of the night he wakes up and ask for water twice and sometimes thrice. But before he used to sleep on the bed at night. In the mornings he used to take 2 naps, I used to rock him to sleep in the swing. But now at night he is not sleeping on the bed and asks me to put him on swing and to rock him sleep. This has led to many sleepless nights for me.
Even doctor suggested me to stop the habit of rocking him and allow him to sleep on the bed. I have tried so many ways but all went in vain.
How to stop the habit of rocking in swing? Can anyone suggest me some tips?

Hello mom at times toddlers get stubborn, but avoid giving into their demands , you may create a bed time routine so massges , change of dress , lie down along with the child , read some story books which are age appropriate , some nice with pictures ,z so that the child finds interseting to see along when you do .. off the lights
