Q.

#asktheexperts my son has flat head on one side, he rolled over at the end of 4th month, he’s sleeping with his face down all the 3 months till now. I feel his head has not improved much. I’ve read about cranial osteopathy for shaping head. Can anyone let me know if this is recommended?

A. Flat head in Babies is very common mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on the sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the soft skull bones such flattening can be there . Thvhis will become normal by itself gradually when the skull grow in size and shape with age . No musturd seed pillow or any such kind of intervention like massage is required for the corrrction .

A. Hello dear parent! Try mustard pillow for your baby. Regularly massage your baby with Himalaya baby massage oil. Consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and advice. Good luck and take care
