#asktheexperts my son 2 month old didn't poop for 4 days Having lot of gas and suffering from pain dr suggest neopeptine drops 5 drops 2 times per day How long should I give this medicine

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. typically breastfed babies will not poop as often because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowel movement is ok. you can neopeptine drops daily.

Nandhini BalajiMom of a 3 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. Hi mom don't worry it's common for babies less than 6 months who is only on breast milk. My baby too had same issue, he use to poop once in a week only. Once you start solids after completing 6 months, baby will poop regularly. You can give neopeptine daily with the dosage prescribed by your pediatrician
