#asktheexperts my new born girl of 8 days old is suffering from jaundice she is under phototheraphy and her total Bilirubin is 15 any suggestion

A. 15 is little high not very high as an average is somewhere around five so15 is not that high I think within 24 hours to 48 hours of phototherapy is going to be Alright so as of now just go ahead with what your doctor recommend apart from that once a child is discharged from the nursery please keep your child into 30 to 40 minutes of indirect sunlight every day for at least a month or two for good option of vitamin D and adoption of jaundice levels
