A. dear mum, after completion of 6 months, you can start feeding external milk and stop giving formula. however, you should also continue to breastfeed baby as it provides better nutrition and improves the immunity.

A. hi don't start animal milk now.as per WHO animal milk are not suggested till 2 yrs.so after 6 month you can start slowly feeding solids like rice kheer ,mashed sweet potatoes and formula milk.go for formula milk which is closer to mothers milk like Dexolac stage 1. it has FOS which increase good bacteria and helps in babies gut and 36 nutrients present helps in babies overall growth and immunity

A. I am a pediatrician . it is not advised to start animal milk before 1 yr of age. after 6 months u can start weaning and start giving him solid food . it is essential to continue breast feeding during this period. u can stop giving him formula when he is accepting solid food and breast milk is enough to cover his needs in between the solid feeds. if u want to add milk to the baby's solid food u can add breast milk or formula
