#asktheexperts My kid is having night episodes of shouting and running every night two to three times. He does it frequently when he has not taken sleep in afternoon. When he takes sleep in afternoon he behaves normally during sleep at night. We thought this would get ok in few days but it is happening from last two years

Maybe your child’s brain is very exhausted by the end that’s why this is happening though not giving a daytime nap is a very good idea for a child who goes to school because then the child sleeps in the night after getting exhausted so feel that sleeping in the day help and calm your child and give one hour nap during the day and in the night our child would learn to sleep better than proper this way
