#asktheexperts my kid is 23 months. From last one week he is experiencing rise in body temperature, armpit temperature reads 99.1F, though after some time comes down on its own. But today it is consistently 99 F. Kindly advice on it.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Your child has a fever if the armpit temp is above 99.0° F (37.2° C). If you have any doubt, take your child's temp by rectum or forehead
