#asktheexperts My kid crosses legs tightly and squeeze while lying on bed when she is awake. she does this very freuently and for long time until we forcibly stop her. She sweats a lot while doing this. It looks like masturbation. Is this normal for a 1.7 year old girl. She started doing this since last 4-5 months. what to do to stop her from doing this.

MRITUANJAY UPADHYAYFather of a 2 yr old girl5 months agoA. i consulted my pediatric doctor and show him the video .and he said some children do like that often..every children is unique in its own way...dont worry everything is normal ...mine baby just do it only when she wants sleep or potty ..so dr said its normal

Hi you should check if your child is having proper bladder control or not because sometimes when kids tighten their vaginal muscles though they are scared but that they will sneeze and the urine will come out sometimes it can get examined with Dr for further assistance
