#asktheexperts my foetus is 27 weeks 4 days. My doctor us asking me to get growth scan now itself. Please let me know idle time to get growth scan and how many times I should go for growth scan. During my first pregnancy it was done after 33 weeks.

A. Usually after 28 weeks growth, scan is done to see how the baby is progressing, and if the weight gain is more or less. There is no time limit or particular time when it should be done. You can maintain a gap of one month between two growth scans if there are no high-risk factors, complicating pregnancy,
