Q.

#asktheexperts My daughters 6 month old now(she has been teething too)has been in diarrhea for 2 weeks and she have been prescribed probiotics like bifilac and econorm..if diarrhea persists still her doctor told to give ofm suspension..can I give her the suspension because it’s antibiotic and I need your suggestion doctor.

A. not advisable to give this medicine below 2 years Eruption of teeth is a physiological process baby will not have any Feverr and loose motions Please massage the gums with your finger apply dentogel on the gums of the baby

A. Hi mom Yes antibiotics are needed to cure the infection completely. so give as prescribed by the doctor. it will be fine.. Do proper course of medication till prescribed by the doctor. Take care and all the best
