Q.

#asktheexperts My daughter Tanashvi is 2.9 years old. Since she turned one, she has been suffering from frequent colds and a persistent runny nose. We have consulted several doctors and tried different medicines, but she gets better only while taking the medication. Once the medicines are stopped, the runny nose starts again. We also consulted an ENT specialist. The ENT advised us to get an MRI of her nose, and the report showed that her adenoids are significantly enlarged. Could you please suggest what we should do next? Is surgery necessary, or are there any other treatment options we should consider?

A. If the adenoids are usually in the grade 3 and four their chances that they are going to increase and the doctor would suggest to surgery which is going to help in giving permanently to the child and trust me surgeries are most common which are heard these days and completely safe to be done but take second or third opinion before you take any decision
