Q.

#asktheexperts my daughter's birth weight was 2.34 kg (born at 36 weeks+1 day) and now at 12 weeks she is around 4.3kg. She is on exclusive breastfeeding. Is the weight gain sufficient? She looks thinner as compared to others her age.

A. Your child has gained 2 kg in three months what else do you expect a child is gaining better than a regular or a full-time child to understand a premature child is little weak initially even they take two or three months before but right now your child growth is going very good in terms of its weight so please don’t worry about it
