Q.

#asktheexperts My daughter is eats banana and milk in the breakfast then roti and daal in lunch, apple and milk as snacks,dry fruits in between, Dalia/khichdi in the evening, Paratha/roti sabzi in dinner. Still she is not gaining weight. What else I can include in her diet? What all things can be good source of Calcium

A. hi, that's look good. add eggs, cheese, paneer, tofu, other fruits and vegetables, all types of pulses.. Give him a normal food in small amounts and in frequent intervals.

A. hi mam, babies weight gain depends on their birth weight. usually they gain triple their birth weight by the age of 12 months. so ideally your child should have weight between 8 to 11 kg. please ensure that your child weighs enough or not. if not then you need to check Health issue like teething, indigestion, worm Infection , stomach upset , nutritional deficiencies etc
