Q.

#asktheexperts My daughter is 6 months old, her birth weight was 3.055 kg and her current weight is 6.2 kg. But she has gained only 200 gm weight in last one month. She was on exclusive breastfeed up to 5 months and thereafter we started weaning her. Right now we are giving her two meals apart from breast feed

A. hi mam, ideally babies should gain double their birth weight by the age of 6 months. so ,as we look at your child weight gain,he or she is gaining good enough. but please don't rush to wean your child from breastfeeding. for better development of child ,it should be main source of nutrients
