Q.

#asktheexperts my daughter is 6 months old and she is having loose motions from past 15 days The doctor prescribed taxim o and econorm but still she is not showing good results I just wanted to know whats the reason of this and even i wanna show some kind of mucus is there in her stool

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and ft vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

A. Mauntain good hygiene try to identify the reason and treat it accordingly. you may give more of water and other healthy liquids such as fruit juices, ORS etc. Give warm water every morning, include a banana daily. Include more foods that contain high levels of fibre. Fiber rich foods can help in faster recovery. Alos ensure baby doesn't get dehydrated.it's good n I suggest it would be better to check with your doctor and follow his advise. That would be the best and safest option for your kid.
