#asktheexperts My daughter is 6 month old. what is her diet chart and should I give her water and how much and how many times?

A. Start by offering small amounts of solids once a day.. preffer day time to feed. Follow three day rule. Give mashed boiled Moong Daal, rice kangi. Ragi porridge, rice porridge. Give vegetables such as pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree, and fruits puree of pears, avocado, apple, ripe banana and give up to 1 oz of water every day

A. yes you can start giving liquids and semi solids but avoid give anything with measurements as every human body is different so as their needs too. just keep feed water and gradually you will able to know baby is demanding more or not , you can start with mashed banana, daal water , mashed vegetables, boiled apple puree , sweet potato etc
