#asktheexperts my daughter is 5 years old. she is suffering from rickets. what food should I give her for vitamin D?

A. Hello mom the child would require vitamins D and calcium , best source of vitamin D is sunlight .. so regular massages and exposure to morning sunlight is very much beneficial. Apart from that you can give calcium rich foods such as milk and products, such as ghee , panner , milkshakes , ragi , sesame seeds , dal and legumes , dry fruits , eggs ,soya , green leafy vegetables , fish etc
