Q.

#asktheexperts my daughter is 3 yrs old. She is having constipation problem. I give her 5mg suppositories once in a week. Only then she passes motion. Is it safe to give her suppositories ? Pls clarify doctor.

A. Inserting a suppository into the anal region is still okay but regularly that also would not be a good option you should try to give more of fibre which diet fluids in the diet and do home remedies like giving prune juice in the night applying some castor oil in the navel that will also help and start with a glass of warm water
